SUMMARY:USDA Value Added Producer Grant Workshop
DESCRIPTION:This important USDA program has benefited many producers throughout the Puget Sound region with working capital grant amounts ranging from less than $50\,000 up to $250\,000. The VAPG program helps agricultural producers enter into value-added activities related to the processing and marketing of new products. \nCarlotta Donisi\, USDA Rural Development Business & Cooperative Programs Specialist\, will provide an overview presentation of the entire program\, how it works\, and how to prepare an application. Melissa Moeller of Misty Meadows Farm\, and a VAPG recipient and trainer\, will team with Carlotta to answer your questions about the VAPG application process.
