Taproot is hosting 2 free workshops on Wednesday, October 11, and Thursday, October 12 for farmers and food businesses — new and existing – here on Lopez. Dr. Girish Ganjyal, the WSU Food Processing Specialist, will host the workshops.
- Day One (Wednesday, October 11) will focus on product development for value-added foods.
- Day Two (Thursday, October 12) will focus on developing a food safety plan.
