Farm-To-Table Dinner Aurora Farms with Artist Zev Robinson

Aurora Farms grows beautiful, delicious, and nutrient-dense seasonal livestock, vegetables, fruits, berries, and flowers by organic and natural methods. Farmer/rancher Lori Ann David is also a Cordon Bleu-trained chef, bringing a comprehensive perspective on food creation, from planting to plating.
All foods will be from the farm, grown, prepared, and consumed in their place of origin. Dinner will be multi-course, prepared from pastured meats, vegetables, and fruits, and served plated and family-style in the romantic chandeliered and draped barn. You will get to fully experience the power of “local”.
The Art of Food and Politics will be a discussion throughout the multi-course meal, served in a variety of ways, demonstrating the power of food in our culture. After dinner Canadian-British artist Zev Robinson, currently exhibiting at the San Juan Islands Art Museum, will discuss his project, “The Art and Politics of Eating” and screen a related documentary short film.
